Effortless Skin has performed fantastically in its first year of trading, with an average monthly growth rate of 130%.

 

The Challenge

As part of their long term digital marketing strategy, Effortless Skin invited Latitude Express to take on the management of their PPC account in February 2011, the objective being to increase online revenue and continually drive their return on investment from the paid search channel.

 

Effortless skin already had a very strong grasp of running their Adwords campaign in a cost effective and efficient way, so the challenge of further improving the account was a tough one. The account was well structured, with dedicated campaigns for each brand.

The Solution

The first step was to take a fresh approach to every campaign, by running a comprehensive Search Query report. From the outset, we were able to eliminate keywords providing zero ROI, and optimize the campaigns ad groups into more tightly grouped themes.

 

From here, Latitude then moved towards ensuring that every ad group was targeting dedicated landing pages, to maximise the opportunity for conversions. Each Advert was then updated, to deliver stronger USP’s and call to actions in an effort to stand out from the competition.

The Results

So far the results have been great, average CPC’s have reduced by 33%, conversions have increased by 206%, but above all revenue has increased by 90% *, and ROI has risen from 266% to 416% *.
